Job Summary

Assist the Indirect Manufacturing Manager in maintaining and assuring accurate inventory records for items including raw materials, components, parts, etc.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Performs cycle counting in raw materials warehouse, storeroom, PSA, and other designated areas.
  2. Participates in the reconciliation process.
  3. Assists in reporting data as appropriate.
  4. Makes process improvement recommendations.
  5. Perform other duties as determined by supervisor.
  6. Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent information as directed by the supervisor and/or based on sound business practice and/or all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  7. Attends training assignments as requested.
  8. Self-motivated, able to check work independently.

Qualifications

  1. Strong knowledge of the product line as well as the ability to navigate through the system to gather necessary information.  This individual must be proficient in the use of RF equipment; must have the ability to count consistently and accurately – matching numbers to products; must have ability to know when to make individual decisions as well as when to go to other resources for assistance.  The jobholder must have the ability to run a manlift safely, and be able to ascend in it to the height of the stored loads.
  2. Intermediate level of proficiency with common Microsoft Office software.
  3. The travel requirements for this position is approximately 5%.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and to work as a team player.
  5. Ability to convert W.I.P. into components.
  6. Assist finished good cycle counter when needed.

High school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years’ experience preferred in a manufacturing or production environment; or with 2-4 years’ experience with demonstrated ability to work proficiently with math and numbers.
