Job Summary

Responsible for releasing and processing service part orders, communication related to those orders and other job-related duties of an Associate, DC1, or DC2. The position requires data entry into the company database on a daily baisis. 

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trailers with appropriate equipment.
  • Keep track of all daily transactions and turn in to management.
  • Operate personal computer equipment and RF (radio frequency) handheld scanners.
  • Ensure accuracy by cross referencing shipping packing list with system generated picklist reducing possible shipping error opportunities.
  • Use WMS system to release and ship orders ensuring correct paperwork is generated and accompanies the shipments.
  • Email correspondence to and from ACCO associates related to customer needs, technician needs, etc.
  • Troubleshoot order or process concerns.
  • Print and pull parts shipments, over pack, and prepare per customer requirements.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as Company rules and policies.
  • Maintain satisfactory performance levels.
  • Assist in special projects as required and participate in process improvement teams.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to perform all physical demands of the position including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., frequently.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, written correspondence, memos, and have the ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Effective oral and written communication; good listening skills required.
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must attain certification to operate the mechanical power lift devices such as forklift and/or pallet truck.
  • Must be able to operate personal computer equipment and RF (radio frequency) hand-held scanner.
  • Must possess ability to troubleshoot issues or concerns with little direction.
  • Prefer experiencing using SAP.
  • Prefer experience in operating narrow isle reach trucks preferred.
