Job Summary
The U.S. seasonal business (School, Planning & Org, Adult Notetaking) has added a newly created Licensing & Partnership Account Manager position to lead strategic licensing and partnerships in service of the brand and business strategies. These responsibilities include managing licensor and brand partner relationships, identification and management of new business opportunities and licensing controls to help bring products to market.
Responsibilities
- Manage legacy Seasonal licensing partners: 8 Active representing >$15M in annual revenue
- Account management for Third Party Licensors (inbound and outbound) and brand partnerships including managing day to day relationships, leading and facilitating contract management including executions, renewals, amendments, and NDA's as well as onboarding, active life cycle and end of life contract requirements. Align licensor initiatives with US Seasonal business and brand priorities. Oversee forecasting exercises and review royalty reports
- Assist with First party Licensor management as needed including IP collaborations
- Bring strategic new business opportunities to US Seasonal business leadership and manage the overall IP portfolio
- Conduct business reviews with Third party licensors
- Partners with Sr Brand Manager to support and influence VP of Marketing and Directors of Product in creation and delivery of annual brand and business strategy
- Responsible and accountable for delivery of relevant KPIs in support of business objectives and strategy
Qualifications
- College degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in required Brand Licensing or licensing-adjacent roles
- Partner Management experience required
- Understanding of regional and global product licensing a must
- Experience with consumer products and marketing/retail strategies a plus
- Strategically agile
- Critical thinker
- Organizationally savvy, strong communicator (informal and formal, written and spoken), collaborator and networker
- A bias for action and proven track record for making things happen

- Brand acumen required; preference for strong business acumen as well
