Job Summary
The Associate Website Manager is an integral part of the Website Support Team by being the primary person responsible for leading the review, testing and documentation of new website functionality. This person is liaison between the Ecommerce and Digital Enablement team and both internal and external developers.
Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert for EPiServer (Optimizely), maintaining expert level of knowledge
- Participate in the development and successful execution of strategic and tactical business plans
- Employ expert knowledge of eCommerce technologies and the supporting analytics necessary to make recommendations in alignment with the organization's strategic vision
- Apply analytical skills to identify, prioritize and present highest impact initiatives
- Support end to end efforts to develop, evaluate, manage and test eCommerce initiatives
- Review, recommend prioritization and submit incident and enhancement/optimization requests.
- Serve as primary tester, executing tests on multiple platforms and devices and log results
- Create clear and concise procedures and how to documents for EPiServer (Optimizely) features and functionality for reference by all stakeholders
- Maintain reference library, update documentation, track changes and communicate to stakeholders
- Provide training to new EPiServer (Optimizely) users within the Digital Marketing organization
- Monitor websites for inaccessible content, outdated information, broken links, and technical issues; perform scheduled audits
- Provide support to CMS Editors, modifying HTML in EPI CMS to address compliance or other issues as needed
- Coordinate legal compliance and governance for data collection from EPI CMS forms and other EPI functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or comparable work experience
- 3-5 years of E-Commerce or Marketing experience
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, UX functionality and the supporting operational elements, such as, transaction flow, inventory matters, shipping, returns, customer service, etc.
- CMS experience - EPiServer (Optimizely) preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- UX testing/scenario building preferred
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Advanced experience with MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint
- Experience using data to drive decision making and prioritization
- Ability to connect insights and recommendations to support brand goals and business objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often
- Strong interpersonal skills: a team player, positive and collaborative
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (Monday through Wednesday in-office, Lake Zurich, IL or Sidney, NY) and travel on a limited basis
