Job Summary

This position will report to VP, Applications. The job scope includes key elements of the SAP S/4HANA ERP Suite and adjacent platforms to be determined during the development of the Business Blueprint as well as transformational technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. You will lead external partners as well as internal IT Resources to execute the program.
You will collaborate and interface with the Business Process Transformation Leader daily to ensure that there is alignment of the technical solution to business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the enterprise architecture discipline, should have as strong application and technology experience and driven transformational and technology modernization initiatives with proven ability to lead delivery of these projects.


  • Project and Program Excellence: Lead multifaceted- cross-functional teams throughout the entire Digital Transformation implementation lifecycle. Ensure the execution of project management strategies- encompassing planning- design- configuration- testing- training- and post-implementation support.
  • Enterprise Application Architecture: Run and facilitate the Architecture Review Board. Enable alignment to future state architecture, drive the modernization of legacy capabilities, and provide architecture guidance for application and infrastructure teams.
  • Work with business leaders to establish enterprise process framework, KPI targets and business capabilities to realize corporate, business line and functional goals
  • Risk Mitigation: Spearhead proactive identification of potential implementation risks- steering the formulation of robust mitigation strategies. Minimize disruptions and delays and safeguard project timelines and objectives.
  • People Management: Lead- mentor- and develop high-performing teams- promoting collaboration- professional growth- and a results-driven culture. Provide guidance- feedback- and performance evaluations to team members
  • Continuous improvement and cost reduction for project delivery, by ensuring in-house teams have the necessary skills and competence for delivering projects whilst reducing the reliance on external 3rd party consultancy services
  • This role will combine strong commercial and end-to-end IT technology skills interpreting overall business strategy and objectives into clearly defined IT deliverables aligned to global standards, methods and procedures.
  • Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations, and maintain the company's information security policies and practices
  • Maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure across CoE teams that supports the needs of the business, including identifying opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing and in-house development
  • Leadership / management and mentoring of internal and external resources required to fulfil the business needs for delivering IT change and stable environments
  • Develop annual budget, complete regular operating expense forecasts, and document financial variances to plan as requested for all application in the scope of responsibility
  • Serve as an SME in routinely briefing key stakeholders on key aspects of integrated design for approved and ongoing initiatives
  • Ensure regulatory and quality assurance standards set forth by regulatory agencies, change management, PMO, SDLC, SOX controls and SLAs are adhered to


•    The successful candidate will have at least 15 years’ experience within an IT department of comparable size and of similar industry.
•    Expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4 on RISE), E-Commerce, and Artificial Intelligence, their architecture- integration methodologies- and their potential to revolutionize diverse business functions.
•    The Leader must have experience managing people (including non-employees), working with and leading cross-functional teams, and managing outside vendors as well as strong organizational and communication skills and substantive knowledge and experience in the areas of SAP, business and compliance. In addition, the ideal candidate has the ability and the aspiration to have future career advancement within the company.
•    Leadership qualities are essential, together with an understanding of how to effectively engage key stakeholders. 
•    Strong analytical skills and understanding of data modelling concepts, as well as technical level understanding of system architecture and design which include process design, application configuration, testing, client training on applications and tools in accordance with standard implementation methods
•    Experience of initiating, coordinating and delivering change management strategies, aligning business strategy with IT innovation
•    Experienced in identifying and ensuring that individual and team development is undertaken in line with the introduction of new technologies, working practices and leadership skills to optimize the IT department performance and reputation. 
•    Ability to travel to Europe and the US as and when the business dictates.
•    Interpersonal and relationship building skills, including the ability to successfully interact with and engage employees at all levels of the organization. Can effectively build and establish credibility through an honest and direct communication style
•    Communication skills, including the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate about complex situations and concepts to senior executives as well as other management level employees and provide understandable and actionable legal advice
•    Track record of innovation- strategic decision-making- continuous improvement- and resource optimization.
•    Broad technical architecture knowledge in Core Applications, Data and Analytics platforms - ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, Web Applications, eCommerce, etc.;
•    Experience in dealing with multicultural and multifunctional teams.
•    Relevant Certifications such as ITIL, Agile Development, APICS, CPIM, etc.
•    MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree preferred.
