We are seeking a driven and results oriented Account Manager, Walmart for the GTA regionThis role will partner with the National Account Manager to help drive growth at one of our key strategic accounts, Walmart Canada.  Reporting to the National Account Manager, this role is responsible for helping to build and maintain the customer relationship, manage the day-to-day business, ensure achievement of strong service levels, and support driving growth in existing and new categories. The Account Manager, Walmart will also analyze sales data, identify trends and provide insights to support sales strategies and decision-making.

Responsibilities

•    Work with internal cross functional partners in order to help grow the business with Walmart
•    Build excellent customer relationships with buyers and cross functional customer team members (Planners, Supply Chain, etc.) and assist in troubleshooting and solving customer issues
•    Monitor the competitors' brands and products as well as our market share, competitor market share, and Walmart market share to understand trends and opportunities 
•    Support revenue and net margin growth to help us achieve and exceed our goals
•    Assist with sales presentations, business reviews, and category updates using POS
•    Assist in the development and execution of a strategic plan to grow sales
•    Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports, shared with the organization 
•    Under guidance from National Account Manager, assume responsibility for forecast of all items and identify forecast impact from changes in distribution, promotion activity, and out of stocks
•    Utilize Retail Link to assist in managing the business with Walmart Canada (item file maintenance, monitoring fill-rate, in-stock and other key KPI’s)

Qualifications

•    Post-secondary degree/diploma preferred
•    2+ years of sales experience, preferably working with the Walmart account
•    Retail Link experience strongly preferred as well as experience with Walmart replenishment teams and item file maintenance
•    Knowledge of forecast and promotional planning preferred
•    Experience in both domestic and direct import selling models preferred
•    Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred
•    Strong understanding of Excel & SAP
•    Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Strong drive for accuracy and attention to detail
•    Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines 
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
•    Enthusiasm and a desire to grow
