Job Summary

As a key member of the Global IT Portfolio Global Portfolio & Project Management function, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end project management of multiple technical, enterprise-wide IT projects to ensure successful delivery, whilst leveraging their expertise in SAP S/4HANA to drive efficiency and innovation as part of the overall SAP S/4 project roadmap.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage defined SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and benefits.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Utilize SAP S/4HANA expertise to optimize business processes and provide strategic insights for project success.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Project Managers within the Global IT PPM organization will define and lead projects across the ACCO Globe, delivering the change agenda as agreed with the Executive Leadership of the company.  As such, this role may be required to deliver non-SAP S/4 projects on occasion, as required by the business.


The successful candidate will have at least ten years of progressive project management experience, planning and executing complex IT projects across multiple locations and geographies.

Proven experience leading SAP projects, preferably SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.

Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules and integration points and SAP S/4HANA architecture.

Technical understanding of SAP RISE.

Demonstratable success in managing complex SAP projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively present to senior management.

Team player with a hands-on, can do attitude to project delivery.

Ability to navigate and resolve challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Results-oriented with an obvious passion for SAP S/4HANA.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Formal training and a recognised qualification in a recognised project management methodology such as Six Sigma, PMP, PRINCE2, MSP is required for this role.

Excellent project financial management with demonstrated experience in project budgeting and monitoring.

Must be able to problem-solve and devise workable solutions quickly.

Able to flex to support the changing needs of the project.

Flexibility to travel to other ACCO locations for supporting projects and stakeholders may be required.
