Job Summary

The Inside Sales Partner, Inbound Opportunity Business will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing inbound sales inquiries from various channels, including distribution partners, value-added resellers (VARs), national sales partners (NSPs), and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product positioning, be proficient in Salesforce, and possess excellent communication skills to build relationships with potential clients and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation and Management:
    • Create new sales pipelines, primarily using Salesforce, to track and manage leads and opportunities.
    • Evaluate and assign inbound opportunities according to guidelines or follow up directly with prospects when needed.
  • Inbound Sales Inquiries:
    • Manage inbound distribution, VAR, NSP, and end-user requests for product recommendations, estimated time of arrivals (ETAs), and bid processes.
    • Reassign requests per guidelines or drive opportunities to closure.
  • Sales Bid Operations:
    • Administer sales bid operations with sales teams, processing and assigning pipeline leads.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes in Salesforce, ensuring efficient sales operations.
  • Account Development & Management:
    • Develop strong relationships with regional cold/warm accounts, with the goal of selling multiple categories of products and introducing new products after each launch.
    • Assist in providing timely opportunity/ pipelines updates via Salesforce to support supply chain decisions.
    • Assist in driving opportunities to closure and working with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
    • Serve as the primary contact and support for VARs, building and maintaining strong relationships with VARs. 
    • Work cross-functionally and closely with funded heads and field sales teams to transfer VAR opportunities and ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Manage OEM opportunities, including first-line inquiries and slot requests, evaluating the opportunity as a private label or KTG lock.
  • Marketing Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the Channel Marketing team to develop customer-based solutions and marketing materials.
  • Performance Measurements:
    • Achieve pipeline goals ranging from $5,000 to $15,000.

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand product positioning and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, with experience managing sales pipelines and tracking opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales, account management, or a related field is preferred.
