Job Summary
The Global Operations Project Manager will lead the execution of complex new product development and continuous improvement programs or projects from initiation through post audit for PowerA. They will develop project plans and will ensure that these projects are completed within scope, on time, within budget, and to the appropriate quality specifications. They will also champion the use of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The position requires extensive collaboration with all members of the cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams for complex seasonal product launches and continuous improvement operations-based projects to achieve projects that are on time, on budget, and within specifications to deliver company revenue and profit
- Collaborate with all regions (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM, etc.) to communicate product launches and determine needs by region in conjunction with Product Management and Marketing
- Drive the development and improvement of processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiencies and execution
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Coordinate the completion of the MR Process and correlated project tracker to ensure all product launches are on time and within budget
- Identify and implement improvements to PLM systems, processes, and tools to improve the execution of projects
- Maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership and all cross-functional partners
- Lead project review meetings with internal teams as well as outside resources to track project status
- Delegate projects tasks, as needed, to respective personnel/departments
- Communicate updates to timelines, products, and other critical information to leadership teams and others as it relates to product launches and other improvement projects
- Interact with all levels of corporate personnel (i.e., Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents, Presidents) globally
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience, preferably with consumer products
- Experience working within a PLM system
- Strong process improvement experience
- A strong track record in successful project management of complex projects
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management tool
- Familiar with best practices in document management and control
- Detail oriented with clear and concise communication skills
- Highly motivated and enjoys a results-oriented environment
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with are on aggressive schedules
- Requires up to 20% domestic or international travel
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
